    Tell us where you're going and when. You verify your ID once and it carries over to every trip.

  2. See who's in town

    Browse verified solo travelers and open group meetups for your dates.

  3. Show up

    Meet at a public spot, share a meal and swap tips for the rest of your trip.

To be clear, this isn't a dating app. Landed Alone is for friendship and company on the road. There's no swiping, and group meetups are the default. Members who use it to hit on people get removed.

When does Landed Alone launch?

We open city by city. Lisbon, Medellín, Bangkok and Mexico City come first, then San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. Cities with the longest waitlists open next, and everyone on the list for a city gets an email the day it opens.

Is it really free?

Yes. Your profile, ID check, finding travelers and joining meetups are free. There's an optional Plus plan for extras like filters and unlimited waves, but you never need it to meet people.

How do you keep people safe?

Every member verifies a photo ID and a selfie. Meetups happen at public places like cafés, bars, hostels and tours, never at a home address. Messages open only after you meet or you both wave, and you can report or block anyone in one tap.

Is this a dating app?

No. Landed Alone is for friendship and company while you travel. Meetups are in groups by default, and people who use it to date or hit on others are removed.

Who is Landed Alone for?

Anyone 18 or older traveling on their own: backpackers, digital nomads, people on a work trip with a free evening, or anyone who wants company for dinner in a new city.

How does the waitlist referral work?

After you join you get your own invite link. Every friend who joins with it moves you up the list for your city, and they get a head start too.

What do you do with my email?

We use it to tell you when we open in your city and to send your invite. We don't sell it or share it, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
